Getting back to the root of traditional education with a homeschool approach.

Times have changed and families are looking for a solution, a permanent way to restore their children’s source of education. Families are wanting the education system to return to normal but like you, we don’t see that happening anytime soon. So, we are creating communities of like-minded families to join a new frontier in academics.

We want to help your family succeed so we have created a solution; a homeschool co-op! An academy with a homeschool approach and a base in traditional education.  We are forging a new, or back to the old-fashioned foundation of education, path in the delivery of education present and future! We are revisiting the one room schoolhouse atmosphere where children are self taught and the days are slow, mindful, intentional and centred around enforcing confidence and independent thinking!

Introducing Frontier Academy, a reliable traditional school environment, where your children will get the quality and consistent education they deserve.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the basics of traditional education with open and free forms of learning, to all students in a safe learning environment that is both supportive of the needs of the whole student and academically and practically focused in content and delivery.

Learning Assessment

This service is based on our belief that every child has a personalized style of learning, where the needs and abilities of each student are important in their learning experiences. Parents are kept apprised of their child's progress in order to maintain a positive and success academic year.

Our Homeschool Approach

Children are meant to learn at their development/age level pace, by being outside and learning through their senses, by exploring their interests, by asking questions and looking for answers. Self taught individuals are a strong knowledge based future leader. By allowing children the freedom to be self taught grows confidence and builds independence.

We encourage self paced learning of skills through books, play, cognitive, practical, fine motor, gross motor, social, and communication. There will also be teacher lead units as part of your child's experience along with the McGuffy readers and other lessons. Let's get back to basics!
